My Rangli Pattern.

I made this rangoli pattern to welcome visitors to our classroom.
Rangoli patterns are for the Diwali celebration Saal Mubarak.

Recount Writing-At the beach

WALT use the correct structure and language for Recount Writing.   

25th Pipiri

At the beach.

On Sunday me and my mum and my little brother went to the beach.

When we got there the water looked cold

so me and my little brother went on the sand and we built a sandcastle.

It was a big one. Then it started to rain so

we went to the car and when we got in the car

our feet were sandy and the sand got into the car. 

We got hungry and then we went to get some fish and chips.

It got cold but it stopped raining so we went back
to the beach and our sandcastle was broken.
The waves had pushed the sand over.

I felt disappointed.

So we built another sandcastle.

It was a small one but we built it bigger. It was a good sandcastle. 

Next me and my little brother looked at the water. It still looked cold.

After that we went in the car and we saw two fishing rods.

One for me and one for my little brother. 

We went on the wharf and my mum was watching us fish. 

I caught a big fish then my brother was waiting

and he caught a small fish and he dropped it in the water.

He cried because he was sad. 

Then my big brother came with my aunty and he bought  his fishing rod.

He almost caught a fish but it dropped back down.

Next he caught another one. It was bigger than my one.

He was excited. He was jumping up and down.

He was yelling, “Look I caught a fish.” 

After that we took our fish home and cooked them for our dinner.

They tasted yum.

I had an amazing day.

Pinwheel.

Today me and my class made wind mills out of paper.
We found out if you do it upside down it was the same.

If you get a smaller pinwheel it will go faster.

If you have a big one it will get stuck

on the stick but if you get a bead the big pinwheel won't get
stuck on the stick.

We are learning about rotatianal symmetry.

Persuasive Writing-Homework

WALT use the correct structure for Persuasive Writing.
Homework.
 Learning is important. We need to learn at school and home.
 I think we should do our homework every day.
Firstly I think we should do our homework
everyday so we can get 100% correct spelling
everyday but if you don’t do your spelling everyday you won’t get a 100% correct.
Secondly, I think we should do our home every day
so we can grow our brain smarter but that's only if you do it at night.
Thirdly, I think we should do our homework everyday
so we don’t get our words wrong if you don’t you have
been doing your homework everyday.
So in conclusion the good thing is we should do our homework everyday.

Science: Pulleys

We made a pulley to get Mr Grinlings lunch from his house to

the lighthouse.

Pulleys are machines that make work easier.

At Flip out.                               

In the weekend me and Jono and my aunty went to flipout.

When we got to flipout we went in side. It looked cool.
I was excited.
Then we went to play Master. I liked Master.
Next we jumped on the airbag.
It was cool. Later on we went to KFC.
The chicken was so yum.                                

We went back to Flip out. I played on the

trampoline. We were bouncing very high. It was very
fun. Finally we went to get some kai
because I was hunrgy.

Learning about Tornadoes.

                                             Today we were learning about Tornadoes.

I made a paper house and a paper fan.

I used the fan to act as a tornado.

Tornadoes can blow houses over.

Persuasive Writing-Brushing Teeth.

WALT use the correct structure and language for Persuasive Writing.
Brushing Teeth 
Teeth are very important to help us be healthy.
I think we should brush our teeth everyday.
 Firstly I think we should brush our teeth everyday so we don’t get stink breath and if you go by someone they won’t come next to you because your breath stinks.
 Secondly I think we should brush our teeth everyday so our teeth
can be strong and healthy. Then you brush the bacteria away.
 Thirdly I think we should brush our teeth everyday because it can protect our teeth.
When you brush your teeth it gets the food out
but sometimes you don't brush your teeth properly so we brush our teeth
in the morning so your teeth are clean.
 So in conclusion the good thing is you should brush your teeth everyday.
 That's why we should brush our teeth everyday.
